Services
I believe healing isn’t about endless trial and error. It’s about using the right tools, in the right order.
I combine medication management with data-driven, integrative care: tracking progress, understanding your patterns, and making small, consistent changes that stick.
Diagnoses & conditions I treat
I work with motivated adults who want to feel better and get back to living.
Anxiety, depression, bipolar and mood disorders, and treatment-resistant depression (depression that hasn’t improved with medication or standard care)
Insomnia and sleep problems
Burnout in high-performing professionals
Grief and loss, including prolonged or complicated grief
Life transitions such as divorce, parenthood, and co-parenting
Memory and cognitive issues, from student testing accommodations to early memory changes
Treatment Options I Offer
Not every tool belongs in every plan. Having a broad range means we can personalize your care and adjust as your needs change.
-
I thoughtfully prescribe and carefully monitor psychiatric medications when they are helpful. I offer second opinions and focus on medications that restore energy, reduce symptoms, and fit your life and goals. Medication is one tool in a broader plan; they’re part of the solution, but not the only solution.
-
A non-medication, FDA-cleared treatment for depression that uses gentle magnetic pulses to stimulate the mood centers of the brain. There are no drugs and no sedation, and most people go right back to their day after a session. TMS is especially valuable when medications haven’t worked (treatment-resistant depression) and for depression that comes with anxiety.
-
An FDA-approved nasal-spray treatment for treatment-resistant depression, given in the office under monitoring. For people who haven’t found relief from oral antidepressants, Spravato works through a different mechanism and can ease symptoms faster than traditional medication. This is the in-office, FDA-approved form of esketamine, not an IV ketamine infusion, and you are supervised closely at every visit.
-
I provide structured, goal-focused psychotherapy integrated with medication management when needed. Skills-based therapy emphasizes practical steps, routine-building, and techniques to reduce rumination, improve mood and functioning, and help you re-engage with work, family, and joy.
-
Understanding how your brain works is key. I offer standardized, computerized testing that measures attention, memory, and cognitive function. It helps identify what’s getting in the way of focus, learning, or daily performance, and gives us data to guide treatment.
This testing can be useful for college students who need formal evaluations for academic accommodations, or for adults who notice memory or concentration changes and want clarity. The goal is to give you a clear baseline, track progress over time, and use that information to support real-world improvements in focus, mood, and function.
-
Hypnosis is used for insomnia, anxiety, and symptom management. I teach practical hypnotic techniques you can use at home to calm racing thoughts, reduce anxiety, and improve sleep.

Grief has a way of seeping into every part of life: your sleep, your focus, your relationships, even your motivation to do simple things. Sometimes it shows up as irritability, exhaustion, or forgetfulness instead of tears. When grief isn’t fully processed, it can harden into prolonged sadness, emotional numbness, or a sense that life has permanently stalled.
I help you find a way through it, not by erasing the loss but by learning to live alongside it with more ease. Together we identify where you feel most stuck and create small, realistic steps to move forward. The goal isn’t to get over what happened but to regain connection, meaning, and the ability to experience joy again while carrying your loss in a healthier way. Evidence-based supplement recommendations, chosen for safety first, so nothing overwhelms your current regimen or interacts badly with your medication. We choose targeted options that support treatment rather than pile onto it.
-
Concrete, achievable coaching to improve sleep, boost daytime energy, and sharpen concentration. We’ll look at key areas like sleep habits, exercise, nutrition, daily structure, and stress management. Small, consistent changes are prioritized so progress feels realistic and sustainable.
-
I use targeted lab tests to rule out medical contributors to mood and sleep problems (thyroid, nutritional deficiencies, etc.), to guide safe medication and supplement choices, and ensure treatment is precise.
-
When helpful, pharmacogenetic (genetic) testing can inform medication selection and dosing, reducing trial-and-error and speeding time to improvement.

Your body clock runs on light, so we use light deliberately in both directions. In the morning, bright light exposure, including a light box, helps set your circadian rhythm and can lift mood, especially through darker months. In the evening we do the opposite: “dark therapy” protects your sleep by cutting the blue light from screens and LED bulbs that suppresses melatonin. The simplest version is wearing blue-light-blocking (amber) glasses in the hours before bed, plus warmer bedroom bulbs and better light timing. As part of a broader sleep and lifestyle plan, this can improve sleep, ease insomnia without medication, and help steady mood, including in bipolar disorder. It is simple, low-cost, and something you can start right away.

Traditional antidepressants often take 4–6 weeks to work, and when you’re in deep pain, that wait can feel like a lifetime. I offer evidence-based, rapid-acting treatments that can begin easing symptoms within hours to days. These options can provide relief before things become an emergency, while we build a longer-term plan for stability and recovery. My goal is to help you find hope now, not weeks from now, and then guide you toward stable, long-term treatment.

90 Minutes
Before our call, I’ll send intake forms so I can review your health history in advance and come prepared. That way, our time is focused on what matters most, which is you and your story.
I offer a longer, comprehensive initial appointment that allows time to build trust and fully understand your psychiatric history, life circumstances, prior treatments, and current challenges. Together, we’ll figure out what’s helping, what’s not, and which combination of treatments (therapy, medication, supplements, lifestyle shifts, hypnosis, or other options) best fits your life. We’ll create a realistic, collaborative plan designed to help you begin re-engaging in life with more stability and hope.
-
(therapy and/or medication management)
Purpose: Ideal for when you need both therapeutic work and medication adjustments. This longer session also allows time for lab reviews and check-ins on integrative approaches. Together, we’ll collaborate to keep your treatment plan evolving, focusing on what’s working and what best supports your needs.
-
(medication management)
Purpose: Focused medication check, side effect review, and symptom tracking. Best for routine medication care once a treatment plan is established.
Not sure which one you need? I’ll help you choose at the initial evaluation.
After your consultation call you can book online. No admin staff, no phone trees, no hold music.
I’m an out-of-network provider, so I don’t bill insurance directly. That’s what buys us the time and flexibility that traditional settings rarely allow. You’ll never feel rushed, and we’ll have room to address the whole picture, not just symptoms. I can provide a superbill you may submit for potential partial reimbursement.
